Energy savings
The process of extracting aluminium—from bauxite to its transformation—consumes large amounts of energy. Re-melting existing aluminium to produce new billets is far more efficient, with the advantage of preserving exactly the same characteristics and quality, and it can be done infinitely many times.

Ultra-reduced carbon footprint
This aluminium, which we call “green”, generates a considerably lower carbon footprint during its production process. We’re talking about moving from a global average of 18 kg of CO₂ per kg of aluminium to just 1.9 kg in its post-consumer version—helping in the fight against climate change.
